This Project will bring great excitement, bright eyes, and happy faces on Christmas morning. We plan to buy them gifts and food to enable them celebrate Christmas in style for the first time, this children have never received any Christmas gift in life.
Life can be unfair and unbearable for children in rural regions in Africa. Some don’t have families to love and care for them, many others their families aren’t able to provide for them, so they find themselves begging instead of going to school. They may be hungry or suffer from poor health and malnutrition. Our projects strive to address these needs and ensure that children feel loved, cared for and happy as well as making sure they celebrate well during christmas, clothed, and well fed.
Whilst the experience of orphaned and disadvantaged children varies around the world, poverty is the one experience they have in common. Our projects help children to break the cycle of poverty through education and training. We help children to build their self-esteem and raise their aspirations so that they can reach their full potential. But it’s not all work and no play! Creating happy memories is part of this process, which is why we also want to make sure they have fun this Christmas.
During celebration we shall ensure we provide education and training for disadvantaged children. This will give them the opportunity to obtain long term employment to enable them to support both themselves and their families in the future. Making sure the children are able to celebrate special occasions and have fun together creates good memories and happy children. The aim is to provide hope and encouragement to children as they grow and develop and navigate their way out of poverty.
